Each character is thoroughly developed with precise details and effective, authentic dialogue. Each plot twist is expertly executed, drawing the audience deeper into the narrative.

The narrator, M> De Blasi, captures the essence of the protagonist accurately and expertly. She speaks clearly and concisely, authentically conveying stress and emotional turmoil. She captures and communicates each situation authentically. She gives each character depth and purpose through her delivery. Her cadence is smooth and flawless.

This is a captivating edge-of-your-seat book in its richness and depth. While it may be triggering for those who have experienced domestic violence, it is exceptionally well-crafted. I highly recommend this book.
