Otto Schafer, the author, has created an adventure that is action-packed, engaging, and seamless. His writing style is narrative, with a smooth and clear storyline. The subplots and plot twists flow naturally, seamlessly. He keeps the actions of the characters consistent and within expectations. Schafer skillfully blends into this story magic, adventure, relationships, and life lessons. One life lesson that resonates is no one is too old or too young to make a difference.

The narrator, A.J. Carter does an excellent job of projecting emotions, powerful moments, and suspense with his voice and cadence. I enjoy the character voices he used. He has given a unique voice to each character making the story easy to follow. Furthermore, he moves the story forward at a good steady pace.

This is one of those rare books that anyone at any age will enjoy. As an adult, I was enthralled by the story. As a young reader, I cannot imagine not being caught up in this story too.
