Rob Gryffon has a unique life. Not only is he a well-known TV star but time travels as well. Of course, he wasn’t aware of this new talent until he woke up two years into the future! He has a mission now, thrust upon him that involves the US Army, aliens, timelines gone amok, and saving the world from destruction by the Wolts!

The author, Steve Teets is a creative world builder and driver of action. The confusion Rob felt, in the beginning, reminded me of someone suffering from a dissociative identity disorder. Given Rob’s inability to reconcile waking up two years into the future and other time jumps, made it more so. I found this complex and at times a bit difficult to follow but the chapter breaks were announced by a bell noise and the narration would pick up with a date so as long as you realized this, you could follow the story easier. The listener begins to hope, right along with Rob, that things will work out but the plot twists keep the listener hooked.

The narrator, Stone Smith provided a solid performance in which he spoke clearly and precisely with subtle intonations to signify the action. In addition, he spoke with a steady cadence and brought the book to life.

If you enjoy time travel, aliens, and lots of action, this is a great listen. Although the bell ring at the beginning of each chapter was interesting and I liked it, I was not prepared for it. As a result, I missed the vital dates and times that followed it and that would have allowed me to figure out what was going on earlier.
