Johnson is Back!

J.R. Johnson is back and is looking to invest in bitcoin.  However, the US Cyber Command, the Russian FSB, and a couple of murdering assassins have different thoughts regarding Johnson.  Playing the “useful idiot” Johnson finds himself embroiled in a dangerous cat and mouse game, he just needs to figure out the ground rules before the target on his back gets him wasted!

This was an action-packed, fast-paced novel that leaves the listener on the edge of their seat.  It picks up with most of the same characters as the first book in this series and the author, Jim Flynn continues to build the characters more deeply.  One cannot help but love Johnson and laugh at some of the antics and situations he finds himself caught up in. 

The narrator, Gary Williams, does a magnificent job of capturing the personality and character of each. He injected the appropriate amount of passion, fear, and more with each passing second.  I found Williams engaging and his unique voices for the characters were spot-on. He speaks smoothly; he speaks with a consistent cadence.

I thoroughly enjoy the series and look forward to seeing what other trouble Johnson finds himself in.
