Vivid details of the story and character development add to the listening experience. An action-packed thriller filled with captivating atrocities and more. The plot twists are unexpected and add to the emotional experience and enhance the story further.
The narrator, Randy McCarten takes an already intense storyline and amplifies the horror and emotional impact this story carries from beginning to ending. He speaks clearly and with the energy needed to relay this story. The nuances he inflects in his voice accurately convey the emotion of each character from a cold-blooded killer to a young, innocent child.
This is an emotionally moving story that brings the everyday headlines of human trafficking to the forefront and how easy it is to fall into their hands. There are no light moments or humor in this book. It is intense from beginning to end. A must-listen!
