As part of the Greatest Generation, Major Anthony Spinelli, a World War II fighter pilot, flew into combat to save his family and keep them free. Two years later, he lost them in the blink of an eye, leaving Tony rudderless and without purpose. Then, on a dark, moonless night, in the skies above 1947 New Mexico, he has an encounter that will change humanity forever. However, when an accident threatens to unleash unimaginable destruction, Tony must race against time and unwinding plots to save us...and maybe himself along the way.

Major Anthony Spinelli is flying high, in his bomber jet when he encounters a deadly storm that totals his plane; he manages to escape the doomed plane in midair. Before the storm knocks him about and dumps him in the middle of the desert, he sees something…
The story takes place during Harry Truman’s presidency when technology is in its infancy and Roswell is a new mystery. Spinelli must decide which side he’s on and do it quickly. Earth doesn’t have much time!
A very short story that sets the stage for what promises to be a strong, well-written sci-fi story. Dean Cole, the author packs the prequel with action, suspense and the promise of more to come.
R.C. Bray, as usual, narrates the story with a strong voice that is deep and resounding. He moves the story forward and keeps the listener engaged. But then Bray is an excellent performer!
This is a must listen to sci-fi enthusiasts!
