Poor Neccabashar. As the youngest demon on the Evil Council, he’s tried everything to gain the respect of the elder demons and still they ignore and slight him at every opportunity. But Neccabashar has a plan, a scheme that will finally garner him the respect he so craves: he will bring evil and chaos to the last pure bastion of good, the Happy Kingdom.
Neccabashar is the youngest demon on the Evil Council and he’s looking to move up the proverbial ladder. So, he decides to come to the Happy Kingdom where goodness rules and wreak havoc. He chooses a young girl to be his catalyst for evil doing. Little does he know, there is one even “badder,” and eviler than even Lucifer himself that he must contend with first. Along with his mother’s help and the help of his young minion in training, Neccabashar sets out on his quest. Throughout the book, Neccabashar plans but things rarely go his way.
Lots of fun and gut-wrenching humor to be had. The narrator, Hannibal Hills performs the book nicely with unique voices for each character and keeps them straight. I loved his emotion-filled narration that made the book even more interesting.
The book itself is a hoot and reminds of the TV show Lucifer. Always trying to do evil but it backfires. Delightful book. Lots of tongue in cheek references. Would love to hear more by Vee James and performances by Hannibal Hills. Together they made this audiobook delightful!.
There were no issues with the production quality of this audiobook. It was clear and well done!
