Slow Build Horror!

Hoping to escape the effects of Covid, one family travels to a long-held family cottage located deep in the Pendulum Woods.  Their escape soon turns to fear once weird things begin happening – rocks found on their roof, their dog brutally killed, and more forces the family to return home.  However, a large dark hairy something wants them to stay!

Jessica Eppley, the author successfully takes the fear of the unknown/unseen and uses it to terrify her audience. Eppley takes her time telling the story and building suspense.  The story unfolds with deliberate slowness. The dialogue and emotional response are authentic and rich. Each character is well-developed. The ending is definitely a surprise!

The narrator, Jack de Golia captures and communicates the fear, unease, and other emotions the family encounters throughout the story. Speaking clearly and professionally, de Golia delivers the terrifying story accurately and with ease. He captures the essence of each character. His delivery is well-timed and smoothly delivered. I thoroughly enjoy his work.

If you are looking for a slow-paced story that will terrify you, this is it!
