Hybrid Horror with Twists and Action!
As a representative of AudioBookReviewer.com here is a review on Iron Dogs written and narrated by Neil Chase. This hybrid horror was an exciting adventure. The author managed a rare combination of the two genres, western and horror seamlessly. Each character got its time in the spotlight as the story progressed folding empathy and depth into this tale. As for the overall plot, there was never a dull moment and plenty of minor twists throughout.
The author’s narration of this story was well done. While managing to give each character a unique feel, the consistency of doing so slips throughout the book. Given this is Neil Chase’s first narration he delivered a solid performance overall.
Editing, quality, and production were on par with most books I have listened to. It was clear, no issue with sound or quality. Although I am not a fan of foley work in audiobooks, this one might be the expectation to the rule. The use of which is tastefully and sparingly done.
