Interesting Characters!
As a representative of AudioBookReviewer.com here is my review on Idi & the Oracle’s Quest written by Ms. T N Traynor and narrated by Steve White.
Idi, an orphan that does not know the feelings of love or acceptance, meets Marcus. Together they set out on a quest to locate and protect the unborn future king and save the world from Norvora. Marcus, knowing that Idi will be a great magician, helps Idi find himself and realize his true potential, but does it happen with enough time to save the world?
I was pleasantly surprised with the writing and story of this story. There are many underlying messages in this book that make this perfect for a young adult or anyone for that matter. The world the author has built has the likes of pixies, dwarves, magicians, fairies, and witches. Along with ancient threats returning that give a bit of suspense and thrill to the action. This story has a nice build-up with descriptions that make you feel as though you are present. Book 1 ends with a cliffhanger, which I am not typically a fan of, but with everything going on, I am looking forward to hearing book 2.
Steve White narrates this story. He does a wonderful job giving the many different characters a voice that is their own. He not only gives each character a voice, but he also shows emotion for each as well.
Overall, this was a good listening experience.
The audio production of this story was clear and well done, there were no issues.
