The Enigma Ignite is an invigorating listen.  I could NOT put this audiobook down and found it extremely aggravating when I had no choice!

The authors put an interesting spin on nanobots that is unusual, unique and fascinating! Petra and Jacob are together again but play a smaller role in this story letting others take center stage.  Professor Su Lin in her quiet life to improve animal husbandry and with her assistants' help makes a discovery that everyone wants at any cost!  Otto and his crew of experts combined with new characters strive to keep the deadly work from the wrong hands while also thwarting the evil terrorist hell-bent on wreaking havoc on the US.  Su Lin puts Jacob and others in a major tailspin as they race against the clock to save her.

The authors Charles Breakfield and Roxanne Burkey are amazing authors!  They know their audience and know the genre inside and out!  They have built a cohesive and captivating group of people that their readers are invested in.  The dialogs are realistic as are their characters.  I cannot wait to see where Breakfield and Burkey take us next with the earth-shattering endings and beginnings that are going to take place in the next book!

Derek Shoales did a great job of narrating the story.  His voice fluctuated appropriately, he spoke clearly and with some of the characters spoke them with conviction (i.e. the terrorist).  I enjoyed his voice and tone throughout the book.

Anyone who loves thrillers and mysteries with an amazing TWIST – this is the book for you!!!
