Mark R. Belsky, the author, indicates he took five years to write this book. Well before the first case of Covid appears making this story more realistic. Belsky weaves an intricate and complex story complete with danger, intrigue, and colorful characters. While you may wish to listen to this book in one sitting, don’t. You need time to absorb the story fully in order to appreciate the intricate details. Each character is rich and well-developed adding to the story.
The narrator, Jon DiSavino gives a rich performance with unique voices for each character. His cadence reflects the different situations in the storyline. Each voice is unique and reflects the personality of the characters. He spoke smoothly and clearly.
Overall, if you are looking for a book with intrigue, mystery, murder, terrorism, and more – grab this one up.
