Entertaining and Delightful!

Cursed with a gift, Penny leads a nomadic lifestyle. Friends are short-lived in her book and not by choice! Limiting her friendships to video chat and podcasts, Penny travels with her loving cat and her cursed Raven. Through a fluke, Penny finds herself knee-deep in friends, a job, and a mystery to solve. 

The author, Sarah Hualde keeps her characters realistic and charming, yet with some real-life issues.  The backstory of each relevant character is complete and interesting blending into the story nicely. The mystery is not too complex thus making it a smooth listen. Her storyline and plot twists are nicely done and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

The narrator, Brennan Koenigsreuter is a delight to hear! I thought she assumed the persona of Penny perfectly. She projected the energy and personality of each character accurately and entertainingly. Her delivery was clear and effortless. I could listen to her for hours!

As a cozy mystery, this book was enjoyable and entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the narrator! I look forward to hearing more from both!
