Tate Archer is an Irish rock star going places until someone begins sending him cryptic messages about his unseemly past.  Once he returns home to recover from his drug addiction, he meets Chloe Quinn.  Chloe likes the simple life and when she discovers who Tate truly is … things become rocky.  Between his past, the mysterious messages, and the rumors that begin circulating, Tate finds his life choices hanging in the balance especially where Chloe is concerned. 

K.A. Finn weaves a tantalizing tale of romance, decisions, and life.  The plot was well-planned, and the twists were not only intriguing but unexpected at times.  Her rich descriptions and character development were realistic and pleasing.

The narrator, Dan Calley gave a performance that was smooth in cadence, his accents were perfect, and his voice for Tate was captivating.  Calley moved the story along with his skilled intonation.

This is an action-packed romance full of intrigue and thrills taking real-life situations and incorporating them into this tale of romance and fame.  I am looking forward to book 2 in this series.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.
