Genetic Engineering vs Motherhood!

Humanity has nearly destroyed Earth and is now reaching for the stars. This sci-fi space opera follows one woman's fight to reunite with her children, stop a failed experiment, and prove the enduring power of love.

The author, Jeremy Clift, crafts an epic-length, action-packed space opera that incorporates themes including coming of age, genetic engineering, and motherhood/family through deeply emotional connections. Character development is well-done and vividly portrayed through description, dialogue, and action enabling the listener to become fully immersed in the personality of each. The dialogue is rich and has an authentic feel to it. The plot twists were well executed. The ending was satisfying but leaves room for more.

The narrator, Gabrielle Gumbs-Gordon infuses the narrative with emotion and nuance appropriately according to the action, dialogue, and character. She builds suspense through her deliberate pace and delivery. Her clear and smooth articulation allows the listener to easily follow the complex plot lines while making it an immersive experience.

Overall, this is a great book with meaningful themes that are accurately and authentically presented allowing the listener to be transported. This is not a book you can listen to for a couple of hours, it is not a book one can listen to in one sitting.
