Review Structure and Policy

Review Structure

After reading other reviews, finding that mine can be scattered, for consistencies sake I am going to structure my reviews to follow the format below.

Every review will have the publishers summary, quotes from critiques (if any) and a disclosure of where I got the audiobook.  I am not going to summarize the stories any further than the publishers summary, I am going to give you my open and honest thoughts on the audiobook period.

(Some reviews were written before implementing this procedure)

Rating
I will assign a rating of 1 to 5 stars to each of the following crtirea.

Story (Pot)
Performance (Narration)
Production Quality
Attention Holding

Which will be averaged out to produce the overall rating.

Review Part One
The opening paragraph will contain my thoughts on what the audiobook could be like, my thoughts on the subject matter, what I expect, how I chose to listen to this particular audiobook. In a perfect world this will be written before I actually listen to the audiobook in question.

Review Part Two
This paragraph will contain my overall thoughts on the audiobooks story, plot, characters, ect.

Review Part Three
Here will be my thoughts and comments on the narration and audio production of the audiobook.

Additional
I will also be posting a shortened review to audible.com, if I got the audiobook there, if not I will post to amazon. I will post a link to my review from goodreads.com and anywhere else that is relevant.

Review Policy

I will always give you my honest opinion of the audiobook being reviewed, no matter what. I will not like every audiobook out there. Many of my reviews are from purchases that I have made from Audible or from audiobooks I have rented from my local library. It is possible that I will be given audiobooks from publishers.
