A “What If” Hit!

Y2K: Panic like it's 1999, was written by Jason Lake and narrated by Robert Nieman. This post-apocalyptic “what if” tale was a fun read. The author was able to set the groundwork for an entertaining adventure series. He was able to accomplish this by writing believable characters and through solid yet subtle storytelling build a world around these characters. The only downside to this listen is its length. As soon as the story had built up to full steam, the book was over.

The narrator Robert Nieman did a great job and was a perfect match for this tale. His voice acting was consistent throughout and caught the tone of the protagonist perfectly.

Editing, quality, and production were on par with most books I have listened to. It was clear, with no issue regarding sound or quality.
