Original Version of Globally Recognized Fairy Tales

Wonder Tales: Favorite Fairy Tales from Around the World is a collection of fairy tales by Hans Christian Andersen, Oscar Wilde, the Brothers Grimm, and many more.  The stories are not your typical children’s fairy tales where everything is sugar-coated.  These are the versions that are more folk tale-like from around the globe.  Snow White is but one example of a princess in peril who regardless of what is said, does not listen well and finds herself in trouble time and again.  Then there is the German fairy tale, Rumpelstiltskin where the trickster is much more devious than in today’s versions.

This collection of tales was selected by Elizabeth Klett and which she performs magnificently.  Witty, vivacious, and warm, Elizabeth Klett’s voice compliments any story she performs.   Klett’s talented voice is crystal clear with the lilt for the princesses, a strong cunning tone for the tricksters, and a soft-spoken voice for all the “Prince Charming’s.”   Klett draws her listeners in with her silvery voice and mesmerizes with her cadence. The pace of each story was smooth and soothing with just the right amount of emotion. As a voice performer, Klett is versatile and rich.

I cannot wait to hear more performances by Elizabeth Klett.

The production and quality are perfect and clear-cut.  There were no issues.
