THE WHEELS OF CADY GREY

by Paul L. Arvidson

Narrated by: Sarah Jane Rose

Production by: Paul L. Arvidson

Unique Cast of Characters!

Being a teenager in high school is rough enough but to have to be in a wheelchair as well makes it even harder.  For Cady life was about to change.  Having been in a wheelchair and being figuratively invisible all her life, Cady chose to fight back when someone started making plans to destroy her high school.  Cady, along with some very smart and quirky friends, sets out to challenge the politicians, the system, and the company with designs on her high school.

Paul Arvidson, the author has created a situation in which a teenager full of spunk challenges the stereotypical profile of a wheelchair-bound person.  Each teenager was realistic and the author shared insight into teenage actions, behaviors, and beliefs. The characters were well developed. This combination made the story interesting and enthralling. The storyline was well done as were the twists.

The narrator, Sarah Jane Rose gives a solid performance with energy and enthusiasm providing a stronger insight into each character.  Her delivery flowed smoothly and clearly.  Rose’s cadence was smooth and kept the story moving forward.

The Wheels of Cady Gray is not your typical mystery, it is a mystery with a heart! I highly recommend it.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was well done.
