THE FLAT ON THE 7TH FLOOR

by E.L. Barry

Narrated by: Emma Barry

Production by: Emma Berry

Short Interesting Mystery!

Growing up, Josie was an only child. Her mother died when she was young, and her father continues to be distant and cold. After establishing herself in the business world, she moves into her mother’s old flat on the 7th floor. Josie’s life is about to take a turn when she discovers she is being followed, her friend is attacked, and her apartment is trashed.  Further, she is not allowed to spend any time alone with her father. Someone is out to hurt her, and she must figure it out.  The ending is not expected!

The author, E.L. Barry writes a suspense-filled novel. The storyline is strong and has several plot twists.  The characters are well developed, and the dialog is authentic, moving the story forward. While the story is good and solidly written, it does seem a bit rushed at times. The plot twists are well done. Kim’s presence in the story is weakish, I would have liked her to be more involved.

The narrator, Emma Barry delivers a clear and strong performance. She speaks clearly and with the appropriate tone according to the situation and characters involved.

If you enjoy mysteries, this is a good book to hear as it has suspense, interesting characters, and an unexpected twist.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.
