Lots of Action in the Wild West!

Those who work on the ranch, the Walking Y, are not just employees – they are family and together they live, fight, and survive! Facing the evil ways of Senator William Howard Bell and his wife forced changes, a united front, and deadly danger for those on the ranch!

Jeter Isely, the author, vividly and accurately weaves a fictional story based on the time and life of the Wild West. It is through the use of vivid word imagery and rich dialogue; that he captivates his audience. The storyline and plot twists are wonderful! Blending in authentic situations and characters, his story moves flawlessly. True to the time, his characterizations, action, and plot were spot on! It is obvious that Isely is well-versed in this time period.

The narrator, Jason Markiewitz delivers a wonderful performance. He captures and projects each character’s essence and emotion vividly whether it is anger, fear, hatred, evil, passion, worry, etc. While the author, Jeter Isely, creates these rich and vibrant characters, it is Jason Markiewitz who brings them to life through his rich tones, energy, and subtle pauses. He keeps the book moving at a quick pace and keeps the audience riveted.

Having grown up on Westerns, I was surprised to find an author and narrator who captured the spirit of the West and its people as accurately as they have done. A time when the law took second place and defending one’s life and property with a gun was acceptable. A definite must-listen!
