The Quotis Gene: The Link

by Jonathan Williams

Narrated by Mapuana Makia

A Gene With Survival Mode!

Once upon a time, there was a race from another world that came to earth and began to colonize it.  A short time later these visitors on Earth fell victim to wimps of the Galaxy and were eliminated – kind of.  Then it is discovered that there are two humans with the Quotis gene that have come together and formed the first Quotis on Earth.  It is not afterward that more with the same Quotis gene comes together as well.  What seems to be a serendipitous occurrence is actually the Quotis gene that brings them all together because it has its own plan.  The fun starts!

The story was creative and fresh.  Jonathan Williams, the author, did a good job of building the story and keeping the listeners attention.  The story flowed smoothly, and plot twists were well done.  Williams took his time and built strong characters that encouraged the listener to connect with them throughout the book. The storyline flowed well making the story easy to follow.    The ending was well-done, and I look forward to book 2!

The narrator Mapuana Makia gave a good performance, the words were clearly spoken and with the right amount of interjection.  Furthermore, the rhythm of the narration was steady and consistent.  I thought the words flowed easily.

There were no issues with the production or quality of this audiobook, it was well done, clear and concise.
