No One is Safe, Not Even a Princess!

Foster Grant had a great life, a small-time celebrity as a journalist and a TV newsman. He had it all – a great house and a gorgeous wife. Then he was recruited as a secret MI6 informant. He didn’t have to do much, just his regular job and ask more probing questions and observe the situation/person, then pass that information along to his head at MI6. It didn’t get dicey until Grant’s true love is murdered. Slow to anger, he is beyond angry. Those responsible will pay!

The author, Foster Grant, creates characters who are interesting and well-developed accordingly. Grant is vivid in his descriptions of scenes and emotions. I found his use of songlines to identify the different chapters interesting and applicable. There were times when I could anticipate the outcome but more times than not Grant would throw in another twist.

The narrator, Foster Grant, does an excellent job. He keeps the flow of the dialog going and does a convincing internal monologue as well. His performance adds to the story in an entertaining manner. He speaks clearly and smoothly.

This was a satisfying, easy listen that left me smiling and cheering for the underdogs.

There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.
