CATHI COLAS

Uniquely Talented Voice Actor/Narrator

Cathi is an audiobook narrator, but she is also so much more. Coach, Equestrian, Yogi, Drummer, Podcaster, and former spy in the U.S. Military (it’s true!). She brings those experiences to every book she narrates.

Cathi currently has over 60 audiobooks on Audible, Chirp, Kobo, and wherever fine audiobooks are sold. She has worked with major publishers, smaller producers, and Indie authors on ACX and Findaway.

Her voice is gritty, seasoned, flexible, warm, and authentic, so she can create believable male characters in addition to her female and child characters. Ms. Colas has studied with Jeff Kafer, Robin Miles, and Joel Froomkin.

She has a successful podcast, “Cathi Colas Audiobooks” where you can listen to many of her narrations and interviews with the authors.

In addition, she is a Home Studio and Audiobook Coach for Suchavoice and an Audio Editor for ProAudio Voices and Learning Ally.

Cathi Colas’ voice will confidently take the hand of your listeners and guide them to the beating heart of your book. Hearing her narration made me feel as if she’d given my book a second life. Jeremy Kepler Author of "Sunray Alice"

"I couldn't have asked for a harder working, more professional, and thoughtful person to narrate Sunray Alice than Cathi Colas. She communicated with me throughout the entire process, an aspect I greatly appreciated, and in the end, her masterful voice work and keen insights honed Alice's story into a superb, heart-wrenching audio experience."

M.J. Ulmer Author of "Jim River Boy"

Cathi Colas was a joy to work with on my audiobook,  "Jim River Boy". Right from the start she communicated clearly and responded to emails in a very timely manner. All through the narrating process she kept me informed of the status of the project. She encouraged feedback and input, ensuring the final product was what I had envisioned. A true professional! I highly recommend her services!  ~MJ Ulmer, author of "Jim River Boy"

Dawn Kohler Author of "The Messages"

“It was a fantastic partnership!  Cathi not only showed incredible dedication and passion for my project, she helped me make key changes that didn’t translate well from written to spoken word.  Her skills as a narrator and voice actress were superb and she was able to truly capture the deeply emotional scenes in my book.  All and all it was a great experience working with Cathi and I highly recommend her services. “

Nikki Stern, author of "The Wedding Crasher" and "Bird In Hand" Sam Tate Mystery series

I can’t begin to tell you what a pleasure it was to work with Cathi. She is a natural storyteller and she stood out from a hundred auditions I received for my mystery series. From the minute I heard her warm, accessible voice, I knew she would bring the characters to life, especially the protagonist. That she did. In addition to being skilled with voicing multiple characters, she has proven to be a diligent worker with a lot of good ideas. Highly recommended

Richard Devall, Author of "A Snake Among Flowers," "They Came From Up," and "When Blood Whispers"

Working with Cathi Colas on three separate books has been a joy. Her range of accents is extremely impressive. One novel had a southern lilt to it, which she nailed. Another book was Hispanic in nature, and again she captured the characters with flawless delivery. Her professionalism and commitment to making a high-quality product went beyond all my expectations.

Cathi would offer helpful suggestions. I understood them and approved them time and again. Cathi is a hard-working narrator that understands the business, and I look forward to working with her in the future.
